Provably fair

Every result at Chipz is fixed before you bet and locked by a hash you hold in advance. Nothing can be changed after the fact — and you can recompute any outcome yourself.

1

Commit

When you start (or rotate), the server mints a random server seed, keeps it secret, and shows you only its SHA-256 hash. That hash is a promise: the seed is fixed in advance, but hidden until you rotate.

2

Bet

You pick a client seed (change it any time). Each bet uses the next nonce — 0, 1, 2, … The outcome comes straight from these three values, with no wiggle room:

HMAC_SHA256( serverSeed , clientSeed : nonce : round )
The 32 output bytes become uniform numbers, which each game maps to a roll, a pocket, a multiplier, a path or a shuffle.

Reveal & verify

Hit Rotate & reveal and the old server seed is shown. Run SHA-256 on it — it equals the hash you saw before betting, proving it was never swapped. Then replay any bet below and the result matches. Always.

The real thing

Chipz now runs the proper way: the active server seed is held secret on the server (you only ever see its hash) and every outcome is computed server-side — exactly like a real-money crypto casino, so you can't peek at the seed before betting. The verification maths is the byte-for-byte Stake method; rotate to reveal the old seed, hash it, and replay any past bet below to prove it was honest. It's still play-money only.
